Purpose and Scope:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. They track incoming and outgoing batteries within their territory.
Responsibilities:
- Collects merchandise from the distribution center and safely transports materials to the shipping bay.
- Receives and documents merchandise for delivery or return.
- Tracks incoming and outgoing batteries for four Southwest locations (Tempe, Las Vegas, Albuquerque and El Paso).
- Keeps an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
- Identifies any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notifies the supervisor.
- Ensures that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Manages all merchandise with appropriate care.
- Picks up/delivers parts from vendors when needed.
- Drops off materials to job sites.
- All other duties as required.
Skills / Other:
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Self Motivator, Independent work
Education/ Training:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft, Excel.
- Forklift certified or willing to obtain.
Experience:
2 Years of experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
Compensation: $18-20/hr
