Advanced Charging Technologies
The Parts Manager is responsible for the management and control of inventory, its monitoring, purchasing, storage and ultimate fulfillment.  They work with vendors to source product and material.
Responsibilities: 
  • Communicates at the departmental level.
  • Manages departmental staffing, participates in the interview and annual review process, coordinating with Talent, HR and other departments, as needed.
  • Oversees departmental training.
  • Manages departmental employee day-to-day supervision and discipline.
  • Analyzes data of departmental fulfillment and anticipates future orders, striking a proper balance between excess or deficient availability, with logistical allowance.
  • As necessary, inspects shipments for defects.
  • Negotiates with vendors for favorable terms and quality product.
  • Receives and responds to escalated customer issues.  May perform (or direct) research into disputed orders and invoices.
  • Enables maintenance of real time inventory.
  • Negotiates favorable pricing from vendors for product orders.
  • Conducts investigation of and responds to all warranty claims accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Supervises preparation of Sales Orders for invoicing.
  • Supports other company professionals regarding the sale of batteries, chargers, and material handling items by providing information or services, as needed.
  • Supervises entry of product received into electronic inventory.
  • Keeps library (or internal instruction manual) of inventory procedures, parts manuals and price books.
  • Stays updated on inventory software, learning its functions, staying current with upgrades and aware of competing products.
  • All other duties as required.

Experience:
2-3 Years of experience overseeing others in an inventory, warehouse or parts environment.

Pay: $68,640 - $70,000/yr
