Purpose and Scope:
The Warehouse Clerk/Driver is responsible for the handling of parts and material. They provide for the safe and proper loading, delivery and unloading of listed goods, taking specific precautions and requirements for handling hazardous materials.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes and placing orders in staging areas for pickup, utilizing forklift.
- Receives trucks and unloads merchandise.
- Receives requests for, locates and collects stock.
- Stacking/Palletizing batteries
- Metal recycle runs
- Contributes to team effort by maintaining quality service and following organizational standards.
- Lays out (or loads) items for delivery in accordance with the delivery route.
- Performs deliveries to and pick ups from area customers.
- Obtains signatures and payments, or arranges for recipients to make payments.
- Performs routine maintenance on delivery vehicles, such as monitoring and replenishing fluids.
- Completes paperwork fully and completely, as required.
- Maintains safe and clean warehouse environment.
- Follows all company policies and procedures as listed, which are not limited to, warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000.
- All other duties as required.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

- Communicates clearly.
- Displays positive attitude - friendly and approachable.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Able to work independently and takes initiative.
- Follows all safety guidelines, such as wearing appropriate PPE (e.g., safety shoes, hearing and eye protection) when advisable.
- Ability to lift 100+ lbs
Education/ Training:
- High School graduate or equivalent, required.
- Able to operate communications equipment in a mobile environment (cellphone, laptop, etc.).
- Forklift certified is a plus.
- OSHA certification a plus.
- Clean and current Driver's license (MVR check) in the applying State.
- Safety training for Spill Containment and Lead Level.
- If applicable, possess or obtain Commercial Driver's License with endorsement for hazardous materials.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience involving warehouse or driving, preferred.
Compensation: $20-22/hr
