Job Title: General Laborer - Equipment & Material Removal
Job Type: 3 Week Project
Compensation: $15.16/hr
Position Summary
We are seeking General Laborers to support a short-term equipment and material removal project. This role involves loading, organizing, transporting, and disposing of materials, tools, and equipment from a facility. The position is hands-on and requires physical work, including loading trucks, assisting with equipment movement, and completing local return and disposal runs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment onto company vehicles.
- Help organize and prepare materials for return to local locations.
- Transport designated materials to scrap yards, dump sites, or return facilities.
- Load company trucks with equipment and materials for transport.
- Assist with identifying materials for return, transport, or disposal.
- Move office and IT equipment such as computers, monitors, phones, and networking equipment.
- Support cleanup and removal of leftover materials and trash.
- Follow all safety procedures while handling materials and equipment.
- Drive flatbed truck and forklifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with construction and/or waste removal.
- Ability to operate a flatbed truck safely and responsibly.
- Experience operating a forklift (certification preferred).
- Ability to lift, move, and transport heavy materials safely.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to inventory accuracy.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to follow instructions and manage time effectively.
