Job Description - Construction Lead Worker (Wireless/Cellular Infrastructure)

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Construction Lead Worker to support cellular infrastructure projects, including the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of wireless sites. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in cellular construction who are comfortable with a fast-paced, travel-intensive work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

· Perform and lead advanced civil construction tasks related to wireless site builds, modifications, and upgrades.

· Operate specialized equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and concrete tools.

· Interpret and work from construction drawings, site plans, and carrier specifications.

· Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

· Coordinate with tower crews, electricians, project managers, and other field personnel to complete work on schedule.

· Cross-train and assist with various wireless construction disciplines including electrical, site grounding, power systems, and fiber optic installation.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 3 years of experience in wireless or telecom infrastructure construction.

· Strong understanding of cellular site components (e.g., monopoles, rooftops, shelters, small cells).

· Experience in operating equipment like man lifts, scissor lifts, mini ex, skid steer, trench rammers, drills, pneumatic hammers etc.

· Physical ability to perform demanding labor in varying weather and job site conditions. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand for extended periods of time.

· Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.

· Familiarity with safety protocols; OSHA 10/30 and RF Awareness certifications preferred.

· Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

· Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)

· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Travel Requirement:

· Must be willing and able to travel up to 90% of the time. Travel will include overnight stays and extended assignments across regions.

Education/Training:

· H.S. Diploma or GED.


Compensation: $25 - $30/hr
